`I KNOW HE HEARS I KNOW HE HEARS Each night I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. I pray my love to Him each night and to always keep us in His light . I know He hears each word I speak and listens to each and all I seek, for every morning that I wake I realize all He's done for my sake. Sometimes I ask Him to hold me tight and to help me make it through the night. I know He hears each and every prayer, for I feel His arms and how they care. I pray that my food He will bless and I pray He will listen as I confess. Now I know He hears me as I pray, for I feel at ease at the end of each day. `SEEKING HEAVEN SEEKING HEAVEN We read, we hear, we sing of Heaven, No sorrows, no tears, no burdens to bear; A Mansion to Saints, will be given, But, what must it be, to be there? No pain, no trials, no darkness of night, There will be Praises lifted by Prayer; We'll be with Jesus; He is the Light, But, what must it be, to be there? All will be Joy, Peace, and Love, With never a disappointment nor care; Somewhere, in that happy Home Above, But, what must it be, to be there? No sickness, no death, no evil to allure, Our Faith here, will be Sight there; In Heaven with Jesus, we'll rest secure, But, what must it be, to be there? The Bliss will someday, be complete, When Saints meet Jesus in the air; Then, we'll bow at His nail pierced feet, But, what must it be, to be there? `GOD IS GREAT GOD IS GREAT Each day is special I live it all that way. Another chance to do better. Another chance to pray. Some days I go through, they seem a little rough. I’m glad they’re out numbered by the good ones. I make it because of JESUS and not because I’m tough I think of all the many things that CHRIST created for me. My family and my neighbors. The people that I see. Each day brings the beauty with all its natural sounds. Its GOD’S little Critters. Both in the air and on the ground. I look out my window and see the melting snow. Spring time is around the corner. Everything will began to grow. GOD is in my heart. This I truly Feel. Because of his great love we will never be apart. I’ve made many mistakes along my earthly path. But JESUS has always been near by. He has keep me in his grasp. @ 7:24 PM
`TO GOD BE THE GLORY Sometimes I feel defeated; unneeded, unheeded, I can take this life or leave it, I think thoughts of solitude, like I’m one of a kind, Nobody understands my mind. I fly without wings and cry without tears, I live with great fears and misunderstood by love ones and peers. My fire is cold, I feel bone weary and old, Please God lighten my load. I have the audacity to ask, because I know you can do all tasks I’m blessed and I have overcome the demons of the past. But my purpose is missing and nobody but you will listen Can I provide happiness for others, because of love? But I starve at the feast of happiness; I only have joy from above. I’m empty, yet full, I’m smart but because of my nature I have no pull I’m looked at as someone that’s easily outsmarted and taken lightly I’m the prey for the wicked and the mighty I offer you my service, train me, let us become we I beg for direction on bended knee. `THE GREATEST GIFT THE GREATEST GIFT God did not have to give us the beauty that we behold. It was not required of Him to show how His glory would unfold. He could have given us dirt: with no sun, no moon, no rain. He could have placed us in a world all ugly, black, and plain. But God loved us so much more than that; He did not want life to be bland. He spread sunshine on this world we know, and green grass across the land. He planted flowers in the open field, and trees on the rolling hill. He shattered the night with moonlight; sprinkled sparkling stars at will. He scooped the deep blue ocean; with His finger carved the stream. Placed the bluebird on the sheltering branch; gave us life beyond all dream. He breathed life into every creature from the greatest to the small. Created man in His own image that on God's name he should call. When man turned his back on the Father, God did not leave him lost. He gave us the choice to come back to Him when Jesus paid our cost. The greatest gift God gave us was the blessing of His Son, Who gave His life on Calvary, so our salvation could be won. If you give your life to Jesus, and release to Him each part, He will flood your soul with happiness; give you peace within your heart. How He healed the sick; And prayed, with the poor, He spoke of God's love, On that Heavenly shore. With the touch of His hand; He made the mute talk, The blind man to see, And the lame man could walk. How, He turned the water into wine; And, could even raise the dead, But, it took a lot of faith, and love, "For, those miracles, He said." `LIFE IS WONDERFUL LIFE IS WONDERFUL There's happiness for those God forgives There's relief for those who have confessed. There was a time I wouldn't admit I suffered with my guilt and distress. Then this sinful woman cried to the Lord The Lord showed mercy and saved me. There is joy for those who delights in God There is peace for those who call upon Him. Oh, how grateful and thankful I am That God loves His children and hears them. For this sinful woman cried to the Lord The Lord showed mercy and saved me. Put God to the test and you will see That He is loving, faithful, and true. You'll see for yourself, all the blessings That He will shower down upon you For this sinful woman cried to the Lord The Lord showed mercy and saved me. Now life is wonderful, oh so wonderful Now that I know Jesus loves me. He calms all my fears, wipes away my tears He gives me peace and love within. `NOW I UNDERSTAND NOW I UNDERSTAND I cannot say that I am glad when storm clouds come, And yet, I know the wisdom I have learned I've felt God's presence closer 'mid the storm And so, I would not ask God NOT to send Those testings fashioned by His loving hand; For ALL things work together for my good And things once questioned ... now I understand.

`WHISPERS WHISPERS the skies grow dark as storms rush in my soul is dragged down by the weight of my sin the demons are with me all day and all night then I hear Him whisper, "I am the way, the truth, the life." my mind is held hostage, shackled with chains it all seems so heavy; the guilt, the shame, the pain how could He love me with all that I've done? then I hear Him whisper, "you're why I sent my Son." I want to know Him but my sin is so great how could He forgive so much pride, anger and hate? I feel so unworthy. I can't show my face then I hear Him whisper, "you're saved by My grace." slowly my burdens begin to lift I'll never understand such a wonderful gift day by day He's making me whole then I whisper back, "thank you God for saving my soul." |
