I KNOW HE HEARS
Each night I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
I pray my love to Him each night
and to always keep us in His light
.
I know He hears each word I speak
and listens to each and all I seek,
for every morning that I wake
I realize all He's done for my sake.
Sometimes I ask Him to hold me tight
and to help me make it through the night.
I know He hears each and every prayer,
for I feel His arms and how they care.
I pray that my food He will bless
and I pray He will listen as I confess.
Now I know He hears me as I pray,
for I feel at ease at the end of each day.
I know He hears each time I bow
and I know He's listening to me right now.
I know my troubles on Him have poured,

ON MOUNTAINTOPS AND VALLEYS
I stood upon a mountaintop,
An awesome beauty viewed;
And gazed into the distant peaks
In glory rainbow-hued.
I stared in matchless wonderment,
No tongue or words could tell,
The artistry God's hand did paint
No, none could parallel.
But then I looked to valleys deep
As far as eye could see,
And said, "Dear God, I'd like to dwell
Right here, just You and me."
He said, "My child, it's time to go,
There's work that you must do."
I said, "Father, can't we stay here
And just enjoy the view?"
"The easy way is not the best,"
He said, "You'll never grow.
It's only through the valleys deep
My blessings you will know."

You will find My strength sufficient

GOD RULES
God was, is and forever will be
He is not held by time, He's eternity
He's the Father of all creation
In control of every situation
With Him there's nothing that can't be done
He's ever present, so you cannot run
In His glory there is no darkness
In His love there is always forgiveness
If you ask, seek and knock you will find
Opens your heart so you're no longer blind
He wants us to know Him more each day

We read, we hear, we sing of Heaven,
No sorrows, no tears, no burdens to bear;
A Mansion to Saints, will be given,
But, what must it be, to be there?
No pain, no trials, no darkness of night,
There will be Praises lifted by Prayer;
We'll be with Jesus; He is the Light,
But, what must it be, to be there?
All will be Joy, Peace, and Love,
With never a disappointment nor care;
Somewhere, in that happy Home Above,

Each day is special I live it all that way.

THE GREATEST GIFT
God did not have to give us
the beauty that we behold.
It was not required of Him
to show how His glory would unfold.
He could have given us dirt:
with no sun, no moon, no rain.
He could have placed us in a world
all ugly, black, and plain.
But God loved us so much more than that;
He did not want life to be bland.
He spread sunshine on this world we know,
and green grass across the land.
He planted flowers in the open field,
and trees on the rolling hill.
He shattered the night with moonlight;
sprinkled sparkling stars at will.
He scooped the deep blue ocean;
with His finger carved the stream.
Placed the bluebird on the sheltering branch;
gave us life beyond all dream.
He breathed life into every creature
from the greatest to the small.
Created man in His own image
that on God's name he should call.
When man turned his back on the Father,
God did not leave him lost.
He gave us the choice to come back to Him
when Jesus paid our cost.
The greatest gift God gave us
was the blessing of His Son,
Who gave His life on Calvary,
so our salvation could be won.
If you give your life to Jesus,
and release to Him each part,
He will flood your soul with happiness;
give you peace within your heart.
God gave us all these things in life
that our eyes to Him we would lift.
Then He gave us life eternal
through Jesus, His Greatest Gift.

Back, when I was just a kid,

Things, Jesus did.
How He healed the sick;

He spoke of God's love,
On that Heavenly shore.
With the touch of His hand;
He made the mute talk,
The blind man to see,
And the lame man could walk.
How, He turned the water into wine;
And, could even raise the dead,
But, it took a lot of faith, and love,
"For, those miracles, He said."
Now, Jesus is still, in this business to heal;

NOW I UNDERSTAND I cannot say that I am glad when storm clouds come,
When days and nights are burdensome and long.

Or any courage that my life displays
Was never gained in golden sunlit hours
But rather grew from dark and stormy days. I've felt God's presence closer 'mid the storm

IT'S IN THE VALLEY I GROW Sometimes life seems hard to bear,
Full of sorrow, trouble and woe
It's then I have to remember
That it's in the valleys I grow If I always stayed on the mountain top

I would never appreciate God's love
And would be living in vain. I have so much to learn
And my growth is very slow,

the skies grow dark as storms rush in
my soul is dragged down by the weight of my sin
the demons are with me all day and all night
then I hear Him whisper, "I am the way, the truth, the life."
my mind is held hostage, shackled with chains
it all seems so heavy; the guilt, the shame, the pain
how could He love me with all that I've done?
then I hear Him whisper, "you're why I sent my Son."
I want to know Him but my sin is so great
how could He forgive so much pride, anger and hate?
I feel so unworthy. I can't show my face
then I hear Him whisper, "you're saved by My grace."

THE GREATEST GIFT
God did not have to give us
the beauty that we behold.
It was not required of Him
to show how His glory would unfold.
He could have given us dirt:
with no sun, no moon, no rain.
He could have placed us in a world
all ugly, black, and plain.
But God loved us so much more than that;
He did not want life to be bland.
He spread sunshine on this world we know,
and green grass across the land.
He planted flowers in the open field,
and trees on the rolling hill.
He shattered the night with moonlight;
sprinkled sparkling stars at will.
He scooped the deep blue ocean;
with His finger carved the stream.
Placed the bluebird on the sheltering branch;
gave us life beyond all dream.
He breathed life into every creature
from the greatest to the small.
Created man in His own image
that on God's name he should call.
When man turned his back on the Father,
God did not leave him lost.
He gave us the choice to come back to Him
when Jesus paid our cost.
The greatest gift God gave us
was the blessing of His Son,
Who gave His life on Calvary,
so our salvation could be won.
If you give your life to Jesus,
and release to Him each part,
He will flood your soul with happiness;
give you peace within your heart.
God gave us all these things in life
that our eyes to Him we would lift.
Then He gave us life eternal
through Jesus, His Greatest Gift.

`MIRACLES
MIRACLES
I read a Bible story;
Back, when I was just a kid,
About all of the wonderful
Things, Jesus did.
How He healed the sick;
And prayed, with the poor,
He spoke of God's love,
On that Heavenly shore.
With the touch of His hand;
He made the mute talk,
The blind man to see,
And the lame man could walk.
How, He turned the water into wine;
And, could even raise the dead,
But, it took a lot of faith, and love,
"For, those miracles, He said."
Now, Jesus is still, in this business to heal;
Just , as He did back then,
And, if you believe, and have courage, and faith,

`LIFE IS WONDERFUL
LIFE IS WONDERFUL
There's happiness for those God forgives
There's relief for those who have confessed.
There was a time I wouldn't admit
I suffered with my guilt and distress.
Then this sinful woman cried to the Lord
The Lord showed mercy and saved me.
There is joy for those who delights in God
There is peace for those who call upon Him.
Oh, how grateful and thankful I am
That God loves His children and hears them.
For this sinful woman cried to the Lord
The Lord showed mercy and saved me.
Put God to the test and you will see
That He is loving, faithful, and true.
You'll see for yourself, all the blessings
That He will shower down upon you
For this sinful woman cried to the Lord

Now life is wonderful, oh so wonderful
Now that I know Jesus loves me.
He calms all my fears, wipes away my tears
He gives me peace and love within.

`HE GATHERS EVERY TEAR
HE GATHERS EVERY TEAR Regardless of the circumstance,
Regardless of the fear,
Regardless of the pain we bear,
Regardless of the tear. Our God is ever in control,
Performing as He should,
And He has promised in His Word
To work things for our good. But as a loving Father would,
He sometimes lets us cry
To cleanse the hurt out of our heart,
To wash it from our eye. Yet gently gathers the tears
Within His hands to stay
Until He turns them into pearls,

`LIVE EACH DAY
LIVE EACH DAY Sometimes we are weak,
we want to be strong,
But nothing is right,
everything is wrong. We feel lost,
lonesome and blue,
no one to tell our
troubles to. "Does anyone love me"
"Does anyone care"
We think too much,
we feel the fear. So we pray to God,
in heaven above,
To send us His
tender love. God will hear us
and answer our prayer,
"I love you my child,
Forget your troubles,
have no fear,
Whenever you need me,
I'll always be here" Now we know we are loved,
by God, family and friends,
A love that is true,
and never ends. We try harder,
and we pray each day,
We get better,
and stronger, in every way. As we get stronger,
we are happy again,
We will live each day,
For ourselves, God,

`NOW I UNDERSTAND
NOW I UNDERSTAND I cannot say that I am glad when storm clouds come,
When days and nights are burdensome and long.
I like the peacefulness of sunny days
When life is bright and in my heart's a song And yet, I know the wisdom I have learned
Or any courage that my life displays
Was never gained in golden sunlit hours
But rather grew from dark and stormy days. I've felt God's presence closer 'mid the storm
As I relied on Him to guide my way
And through my trials found a stronger faith
Enabling me to better face each day. And so, I would not ask God NOT to send
Those testings fashioned by His loving hand;
For ALL things work together for my good

`IT'S IN THE VALLEY I GROW
IT'S IN THE VALLEY I GROW Sometimes life seems hard to bear,
Full of sorrow, trouble and woe
It's then I have to remember
That it's in the valleys I grow If I always stayed on the mountain top
And never experienced pain,
I would never appreciate God's love
And would be living in vain. I have so much to learn
And my growth is very slow,
Sometimes I need the mountain tops,
But it's in the valleys I grow. I do not always understand
Why things happen as they do,
But I am very sure of one thing.
My Lord will see me through. My little valleys are nothing
When I picture Christ on the cross
He went through the valley of death;
His victory was Satan's loss. Forgive me Lord, for complaining
When I'm feeling so very low,
Just give me a gentle reminder
That it's in the valleys I grow. Continue to strengthen me, Lord
And use my life each day
To share your love with others
And help them find their way. Thank you for valleys, Lord
For this one thing I know
The mountain tops are glorious

`WHISPERS
WHISPERS
the skies grow dark as storms rush in
my soul is dragged down by the weight of my sin
the demons are with me all day and all night
then I hear Him whisper, "I am the way, the truth, the life."
my mind is held hostage, shackled with chains
it all seems so heavy; the guilt, the shame, the pain
how could He love me with all that I've done?
then I hear Him whisper, "you're why I sent my Son."
I want to know Him but my sin is so great
how could He forgive so much pride, anger and hate?
I feel so unworthy. I can't show my face
then I hear Him whisper, "you're saved by My grace."
slowly my burdens begin to lift
I'll never understand such a wonderful gift
day by day He's making me whole
